Support for Instrument Transportation for the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra’s Asia Project
12 Aug 2025
|From May to June 2025, the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra performed a series of concerts in Bangkok, Thailand, and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, as part of its Asia Project. With a tight schedule that did not allow for a return to Japan between performances—and the logistical challenge of transporting a full orchestra of over 100 members—the movement of a large number and variety of instruments required delicate and swift handling throughout the journey.
Jupiter Group (including Jupiter Japan, Jupiter Thailand, and Jupiter Malaysia), in collaboration with Japan Airlines and Thai Airways International, developed a meticulous handling plan for each location. Additionally, we dispatched staff from Japan to ensure seamless operations.
Thanks to this coordinated effort, we were able to fully demonstrate our expertise in precise and efficient international transportation, successfully completing the entire itinerary.
Concert Schedule and Instrument Transportation Overview:
May 26: Departure from Muza Kawasaki
May 27: Transport via JL33 (Haneda → Bangkok)
May 28–29: Bangkok concert (Thailand Cultural Centre)
May 30: Transport via TG417 (Bangkok → Kuala Lumpur)
June 1: Kuala Lumpur concert (Petronas Philharmonic Hall)
July 2: Return transport via JL724 (Kuala Lumpur → Narita)
